This shall be achieved through promotion of sustainable natural resource use, Livelihood improvement, Food security enhancement, skills development, promotion of good governance, Education, Public and environmental health.

Vision

Key Principles

Resilience is the capacity of communities to cope with shocks and stresses without crisis. Our framework for building resilient societies focus on three pillars, the “Planet, People and Alliance”.

Planet: - here our focus is to reduce environmental degradation and climate change impact by ensuring people appropriately meet their basic needs within the acceptable limits of the environment

People: - here our focus is on community empowerment through building their capacity to reduce their vulnerability to disasters through environmental adaptation, disaster risk management and developing their potential to increase food security and enhance sustainable livelihoods

Alliance: - we believe sustainable development can be effectively achieved through partnerships. We strive to build lasting partnerships with communities, individual members, corporate members and other stakeholders who share our vision of “Building Resilient Communities”.
